The world’s largest urban national park, extending more than 45 miles from the Hollywood Bowl to Ventura, features a rich variety of plants and wildlife. Home to hiking, biking, horseback riding, whale watching and more.

Wildwood Park
Wildwood Park is a 1,700-acre park with 14 trails, covering 17 miles of the park. Park attractions include Indian caves and two waterfalls flowing around the year.

McCrea Ranch

The beautifully rustic McCrea Ranch, located at the bottom of the Norwegian Grade, was owned by legendary film actor and Western movie hero Joel McCrea, with his wife of 57 years, movie star Frances Dee. A personal friendship between Joel and Tex Ward, General Manager Emeritus for CRPD, helped lay the foundation for the McCreas to donate their ranch and family home in 1995 to the Conejo Recreation and Park District, effective 2004. The ranch home and outbuildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Stage Coach Inn
Built in 1876, the original structure of the Stagecoach Inn was destroyed by fire in the early 1970s. The original building was used as a school, a post office, a steak house, a church, a gift shop and a movie set. Today, the re-built landmark has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places and designated a State Historical Landmark.

Gardens of the World
​​​​​​​
Gardens of the World features gardens with many cultural themes and styles, such as Japanese, Italian, English and French. The gardens are owned and operated by the Hogan Family Foundation and they exist as a cultural contribution to the community and an educational tool as well.
