5-Star Theatricals is the Ovation Award-winning Resident Musical Theatre Production Company of the Thousand Oaks Bank of America Performing Arts Center, and a non-profit theatre organization. It is 5-Star Theatricals mission to provide the highest quality musical theatre experience, to foster educational opportunities, and to promote cultural and artistic enrichment to enhance the quality of life in Southern California. Since the inception of 5-Star Theatricals “Beyond the Footlights,” over 40,000 underserved children, in-need seniors, and active military have enjoyed 5-Star Theatricals productions at no charge. Additionally, 5-Star Theatricals provides ASL signed performances of every production; talkbacks with cast and staff; and 5-Star Theatricals Animal Rescue program.

Absolutely everything - in the most hilarious way imaginable! The Play That Goes Wrong is a sidesplitting farce where a cast of earnest actors struggle to keep their disaster of a murder mystery on track. Expect collapsing sets, missed cues, and nonstop laughter from start to finish. 

The Wizard of Oz - July 10-19, Fred Kavli Theatre There's no place like 5-Star! Join Dorothy and friends on a whirlwind adventure over the rainbow in The Wizard of Oz - a timeless tale of courage, friendship, and finding your way home. 

​​​​​​​Les Misérables - October 9-18, Fred Kavli Theatre  Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an unforgettable story of love, redemption, and revolution. Featuring iconic songs like "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," and "One Day More," this epic musical masterpiece continues to move audiences around the world.
